About an Early Resolution Officer
As an Early Resolution Officer you will be use your highly developed communication and written skills to respond to consumer complaints both over the phone and by email. You’ll use excellent problem solving skills to assess complaints and determine if the matter is in the TIO jurisdiction.
You'll educate and guide consumers through the complaint process as well as adapt your communication skills to meet consumer needs.
This role isn't just about complaints, it's about providing quality interactions with consumers and ensuring their complaint is captured professionally and accurately.
What do you need
With a natural passion for people you'll have a minimum of two years customer service experience, exposure to dealing with complaints and ideally in a phone based role.
You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to quickly adjust your communication style to meet the needs of consumers as well demonstrate independence and the ability to remain impartial.
Working in a regulatory based environment such as another Ombudsman scheme, superannuation, utilities, banking or legal would be an advantage.
